I still remember the first time I was contacted by a Financial Advisor in the late 90’s.  His name is Andy, and he probably thought he was simply trying to gain a new client.  He did way more than that!  We were fresh out of college and newly married. I recall how Andy expressed the importance of being intentional about our finances and start saving early. We immediately started a small monthly investment with him – the amount of a few meals at restaurant today! We also discovered quickly that we could always depend on his guidance and experience. I often tell people that taking his advice was one of the best decisions we ever made. I’ll be forever grateful for Andy taking the time to encourage and guide us.

His influence inspired me to do the same for others.

Since becoming a Financial Advisor in 2009, I believe my clients have always appreciated me having a heart of a teacher. I'm extremely proud to have the experience, desire and resources to help individuals, families and businesses clarify their goals. I enjoy helping young professionals recognize the importance in creating lasting positive habits and establish an action plan that will help pursue any goal.  A common focus for mature clients is to confirm whether their diligence has paid off and they're ready to retire confidently. I help retirees live a lifestyle that complements the resources they worked hard to accumulate.

It's extremely fulfilling to help clients make informed decisions for their goals and circumstances through our internal financial planning process. I recognize that I'm successful when my clients' money becomes a positive influence in their lives and those around them.

I’m sure you can tell by now I’m passionate on helping people make wise financial decisions.  Through many personal and professional experiences, I often share the verse “As Iron Sharpens Iron, So One Person Sharpens Another.”  Proverbs 27:17. Many of my closest friends and family know I mention this often!

In addition to serving my clients, I’m privileged to serve our company as our Visionary and a member of our leadership team.  Being the Visionary for our team allows me to focus on the short and long-term vision, foster our culture, and be creative.  This is in my lane!

I have been married to my wife, Shonna, for over 25 years and have three boys.  Much of our free time is spent watching our boys in their sporting activities.  I cherish my extended family’s annual reunion over the Labor Day weekend and visiting my in-laws in Montana.  We are also involved in our church and school.
